Timm Cleasby is a Barnsley born photographer, he has spent twenty years working in the music business before making the leap as a professional photographer four years ago. His photographs from his time with Arctic Monkeys were exhibited in 2009 in his ‘On Tour’ exhibition and he works as both a commercial photographer as well as running unique photography studio The Picture Foundry with wife Sam.
He regularly photographs bands for Sheffield magazine Exposed and in his work photographing everyone from musicians to children; Timm captures the energy and passion of his subjects perfectly. His reportage style makes for natural and believable images that feel both personal and iconic.
Timm’s years touring the world developed his keen eye for interesting images and gave him a passion for natural, portrait photography. He has photographed bands such as The Darkness and The Prodigy as well as many up and coming bands in Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
He also runs Arts group Responsible Fishing with artist James Brunt creating visually stunning installations and images all around the UK further exploring his creativity and love of the arts.
